Wow! October was a very full month for Jordan! It began in San Francisco for
Fleet Week and Pier 39, followed by a picnic with our Las Madres playgroup
friends. You will be able to tell, based on his outfits, that we had weather in
the 90's followed by cold days and several inches of rain. Jordan met a new
friend, Caden King, who is two months old. Great Auntie Jan stopped by for a
wonderful visit and Jordan received too many kisses to count. We had the Las
Madres friends over on a rainy day and shared our pumpkins with them, and also
invited neighborhood kids over for pumpkins. And then there was Halloween
itself. We took a ridiculous number of pictures of Jordan in his costume at

He is now 8 months old and loves to rock back and forth on his hands and
knees (but doesn't go anywhere aside from the occasional scoot backwards), but
his favorite thing to do is STAND! He can't get up on his own and has no sense
of gravity, but while he's up, he's in heaven! It's almost time to baby-proof
the house -- we expect forward motion any day now.
