Adversary Squadron Flight, 10 May 2005
Fighter Composite Squadron 13 (VFC-13) is the home
of the "Saints," a group of fighter jets that simulate enemy aircraft to give
the Navy realistic practice, so the training we do in peacetime is as close to
actual enemy combat as we can provide.
They had an extra seat in the cockpit when I was out
visiting at Fallon Naval Air Station in Nevada, my pilot was "WOOD" the incoming
Officer In Charge of the Squadron. If you are a recruiter, any day flying
is a good day- many thanks to the officers and crew that helped me suit up and
go flying!
